Lots of things will happen on that day.
The funny thing about charlatans is that there is always "something" that they can point to and use to fooll the weak-minded. Its not limited to any one area of the human experience. Its present in religion, politics, medicine, entertainment, the education system, sports, consumerism...need I continue?
Can we stop all of this rubbish talk of the end being imminent and watch a video about Skyrim instead (providing we last that long)

Maybe the Rapture has come & gone already and the punishment for those of us left behind is that we are now in a limbo that is identical to the world the way it was before the event.
