XF 2.2 Issues with Installation

Hello,

I am relatively new to xenforo, I spent the last 15 years, give or take working with vBulletin from 2.2.x to 4.2.x and just migrated to xenforo after the consistent and steady decline of vb. Now, I just tried to install and kept getting hit with the same installation error:

callback_x_invalid_y

I would appreciate some insight into this error and advise on how to overcome or bypass it.

The only time I have seen that before is when some files have not been uploaded.

Which FTP application are you using?
Don't use Filezilla.

If you have cPanel, upload the zip archive and extract the files on the server using the File Manager application.
It's much faster and avoids upload issues.

So, good news, we got passed it. Apparently the issue was that I had installed an importer before I actually installed the base forum. Thanks for your insight.
