I received this email from a registered member of our forum.
Any idea what this "Oops" is?
Possibly a custom error page?
What is the link in the email? How does that relate to the actual thread URL?
What is the Board URL set to in ACP -> Options -> Basic Board Information?
I haven't set up a custom error page.
Board URL is correct.
The link in the email, for me, works fine (he's forwarded it to me).
Link in email is: http://www.blackburnweb.co.uk/forums/index.php?posts/33990/
This directs to: http://www.blackburnweb.co.uk/forums/index.php?threads/unanswered-questions.2784/#post-33990
I have set up the 301 redirects using Kiers script, but again it works fine for me.
Could it be his browser?
Thanks for the reply.
It sounds like it could be his email client or browser.
Both of those links above resolve correctly, so what is the actual URL that is being loaded in his browser?
He's also sent me this... Seems it's not just the email links but any topic that he's posted to.
Sounds like a local browser issue, so there's not much that can be done if it is unable to be replicated.
Should it work in IE6 then?
Separate names with a comma.
