XenForo 2 is pretty amazing right now. I just launched a new site with it, using only official addons, and I'm pleasantly very surprised how great it is.
Is Xen 2.0 really that bad right now?

It is a beta version. Your website run high risks.
On the contrary there’s very few risks to running s beta version, especially one that’s so close to a stable release.
Obviously people should proceed with caution especially if upgrading a live site, but we’re very confident about its stability at this point, as will be evidenced by the upcoming releases!
