Is there a difference in vB database and XF database size?

The backup I just took of XF database after importing is 1130428435 in size. The db backup I took of vB right before starting the import is 2237549534 in size. I think these are bytes (size shown in Filezilla). So I'm just wondering if XF db size is supposed to be smaller than vB db size.

It's not necessarily smaller - it depends on several factors such as whether attachments were stored in the file system in VB, whether ES is in use in XF, bb code parsing implemented, length of time IP addresses are stored, etc.

There is no correlation between the two systems.

Xenforo database is lighter and more manageable, by my personal experience.
