Is the 'latest member' the one who's activated account?

I've few questions about the way XF shows members:

• Is the latest member the one who's 'activated' account?
• Does the total member count include those who haven't activated their account?
• Does the total member count include those who've been banned as well?
• If I ban a member, does the member count decrease (unable to test this).

2) No.

4) Yes (within 10 minutes, because that is how often the cron runs).

You're probably aware already, but if you go to ACP > Tools > Statistics you can see the actual number of daily sign-ups there (so you can see that you're getting plenty of people completing the process even if the numbers don't fully translate to actual users of the site; failed registrations/walk-aways/spammers/bannees).

Yep, the graph in the admincp gives the total number of registrations - aka the people who have actually activated their accounts in any day, right?

I hope it does not include banned people, those who registered but didn't activate account.
