Is my Forum Account here Different than the main page buy account?

I am trying to purchase XenForo. I have this account I am using to make this thread, but when I try to sign in at the Buy Xenforo page it says my email address does not exist. Do I need to create the same email address again on the buy page for XenForo?

Yes, the forum account is different from your customer account.

The customer account is different from the forum account so yes, you will need to create that one too. Once you do and you have purchased XenForo, make sure you add your forum user name in the Forum users section of your customer account so it will then let you post in the customer forums.

Yeah, I run into this problem at lot with the install and update add-on because I have different usernames and passwords for each and the add-ons come from the forum but the upgrades come from the customer area.
