I don't see a POST endpoint for alerts in the API documentation, and I suggested an explicit endpoint for alerts here, but I wondered if perhaps there's something I'm missing and there is a simple way to post alerts from a third party legacy system to Xenforo (or a way to use the API to do this through another endpoint I hadn't considered).
Right now, I'm sending conversations for simple notifications and that's really not ideal!
