I want to switch from IPB to Xenforo, is this possible without loosing my posts, threads,..?

Yes, there is a built in importer for IPB 4.x.

It's fairly straightforward - most customers feel comfortable doing it themselves.

You would install XF in a temporary directory, perform the import, then move/archive IPB and move XF.

Are there some features like for gameserver community like Steam Login, Steam Profile, GAmeserverlist,...?

Should I take a clean database or can I install it on the same database like IPB?

XF must be installed in its own database.
