R Rotary Member Feb 25, 2016 #1 Hello, I want to switch from IPB to Xenforo, is this possible without loosing my posts, threads,..?
Brogan XenForo moderator Staff member Feb 25, 2016 #2 Yes, there is a built in importer for IPB 4.x. See the pre-sales FAQ in my signature for what is imported. Upvote 0 Downvote

R Rotary Member Feb 25, 2016 #3 Hello, is it difficult to import it or is it automatic? I want put xenforo in the same path like IPB, should I do this after I import it? Upvote 0 Downvote

Brogan XenForo moderator Staff member Feb 25, 2016 #4 It's fairly straightforward - most customers feel comfortable doing it themselves. You would install XF in a temporary directory, perform the import, then move/archive IPB and move XF. Brogan XenForo moderator Staff member Feb 25, 2016 #8 XF must be installed in its own database. I see that you are licensed now (welcome to XF) so it would be better to post any further questions in the customer forums, as support typically won't be provided in the pre-sales forum.
