XF 1.1 IPB 3.1.x import - soft deleted posts are in moderation queue - query to delete (soft-delete) them?

I'll have near-on 50,000 items in the moderation queue by the time my import fully completed.

I cannot click "Delete" on each item in the queue (especially as there's no pagination!!!! ), so could I please have a query to soft-delete all items in the moderation queue please?

You could just try truncating the moderation_queue table.

Take a backup first though!

That would get rid of the queue, but unfortunately the posts from banned members are not soft-deleted and are still visible to members after import.

The soft-delete query will hopefully remove them from view.

So they were deleted in your old forum but after importing they are moderated but not deleted?

Which means the xf_post.message_state field has visible for them all?

One option is to approve them all with some queries:

Soft deletion involves inserting records into the xf_deletion_log table as well as updating the state. I will try to make some queries for that. Will report back.

FYI, I've flagged this to Kier and Mike as the posts shouldn't have been imported in this state assuming they had the correct state/flag in the IPB database.

Definitely don't want them approved ... ... but not bothered about the deletions being logged in the moderation log if that part can be excluded.

There isn't a simple switch to move the post into "soft deleted" state then?

I could do that to them all and then truncate the mod queue.

Backup first. And you may want to hold off on this if there is something wrong with your imported data as Brogan has suggested.

All that was left were a few profile posts - but they were easily removed.
