iOS 4.3 is Out!

iOS 4.3 is out

I'm most of all excited about this function:

Surf at the speed of fast.

As you surf the web, your fingers will love the responsiveness of the new Nitro JavaScript engine powering Safari. It runs JavaScript up to twice as fast as in iOS 4.2.2Which means you get more speed behind each page load. And sites with lots of interactive features can appear on your screen even faster.

Shall it speed up XenForo or not?

AT&T's crap network won't gain us much speed...but if you're on Verizon, you may have better luck

AT&T is just one provider, ..

They're not even in EU.

For example, 3g in the NL is 14mbit at some providers, t-mobile currently has it capped at 2mbit.

These "speed increases" are always in the order of magnitudes of seconds, though, which is hardly noticeable on real-world, day-to-day usage.

... meanwhile Ultrasn0w isn't unlocking any iPhone4 ... We were hoping for an update when 4.3 is out .. but it looks like we're going to put up with AT&T a little longer

Are you getting ultrasn0w from repo666.ultrasn0w.com and adding that as a repository in cydia and disabling 3g when installing this package. If you are you may need to downgrade your firmware ..have you saved your SHSH blobs? If not and you have the current FW you will need to wait a bit longer most likely as you suggested.

nope I bought mine with baseband 3.10 so no luck in downgrading .... I'm still using my old 3Gs for phone calls and my brand new shiny 4 for goofing around on wifi

It is exactly the same. There is only ever one GM. From there, future point updates are applied.
