InvisionCommunity: no longer on-premises?

I happened to stop by IPS again today. Apparently, starting with version 5.x, they’re “only” offering cloud instances (?)

What really stood out to me, though, is that the basic storage capacity included in each plan has been significantly reduced. Only the pricing structure has remained unchanged - for now.

The self-hosted version is called "Classic", but it seems it cannot be purchased:

It seems possible to purchase new IPS Classic or renew existing licenses of self hosted IPS community suite.

I may have missed that before, but that looks like it was hurriedly added as it does not even have appropriate padding or anything.

But seriously, placing that at the bottom of the page below every possible content they could shows how little they wish people to buy their classic plan.

There's practically no mention on the "pricing" page that you can also purchase a self-hosted license...
This shows how few sales of €499 (+ €199 for renewal) they received after they released version 5.

That is the classic license.
They have not been shy about saying they no longer want us self-hosted people.
I have thousands of development in my site, and I will be shopping around for a new platform in a year or two.

I think most of your Bike directories can be replicated and much enhanced with Review Management System, Item Management System, Classifieds, Showcase and other addons by @Bob
When you go shopping around for a new platform then do check those out. Aside from Showcase, these are not available on xenforo.com but here:
