InvisionCommunity: no longer on-premises?

I happened to stop by IPS again today. Apparently, starting with version 5.x, they’re “only” offering cloud instances (?)

What really stood out to me, though, is that the basic storage capacity  included in each plan has been significantly reduced. Only the pricing structure has remained unchanged - for now.

It seems possible to purchase new IPS Classic or renew existing licenses of self hosted IPS community suite.

There's practically no mention on the "pricing" page that you can also purchase a self-hosted license...
This shows how few sales of €499 (+ €199 for renewal) they received after they released version 5.

But where's the link for the Classic license? I looked at the home page and the pricing page and couldn't find anything...

That is the classic license.
They have not been shy about saying they no longer want us self-hosted people.
I have thousands of development in my site, and I will be shopping around for a new platform in a year or two.

Nice website!
I think most of your Bike directories can be replicated and much enhanced with Review Management System, Item Management System, Classifieds, Showcase and other addons by @Bob
When you go shopping around for a new platform then do check those out. Aside from Showcase, these are not available on xenforo.com but here:

I think you draw the wrong conclusion. They don't want to sell self-hosted anymore. They made clear that v5 is the last version for self-hosted and their future is Cloud business only.

They seem hell-bent on pushing people to use cloud. Glad I'm sticking with xF...
I’ve used both self-hosted and cloud options, and the latter is far easier for most people who just want to run a forum (like I did). Especially when there’s little interest in doing additional skins or mods, which is likely the majority of the customers. So you have them host it, do all the updates, and so on.

When I did self-hosted, it was much more complicated in terms of having to maintain a lot of other services, be familiar with various things like PHP/MySQL/FTP, all to just run what was basically the stock software. Even at the time, I would have preferred a more cloud-based option.
