Not a bug Invalid structured data

Hi,
I have Invalid structured data errors on all pages using @XFA Document Manager.
I have spoken to him and he says it may be a XF fault in the templates?
So to rule out anything on XF I thought I'd ask here as well.

Any ideas what I can do to change this?

A value for the rating field is required.

It's using
@type
Review-aggregate

from data-vocabulary.org now from my understanding here: https://xenforo.com/community/threads/invalid-structured-data-in-rm-reviews.112810/
Shouldn't it now be using schema.org markup? If so, how do I change it as it won't be as simple as changing one URL to the other in the templates or will it?
Thanks in advance.

If @XFA has identified it as an XF bug, then we'd really need to know how they came to that conclusion because if the issue is on pages they output, it very well may be an issue in the add-on.

I have no idea.. but he said they're using the default rating template to display them in the XF templates.
I noticed that some pages have specific script related to shema.org, using their same add-on and ours doesn't but am awaiting a reply on that one.
