XF 2.0 invalid IP adresses - how can this happen ?

again and again I see some invalid IP addresses in my database. IPs starting with"0", like 0.2.33.45. They screw up the membermap
How can I create a userlist to see which users they belong to.
Also it would be great to understand how this can happen at all...

Go to /admin.php?users/search. Use the "Search by IP address" tab.
