The editor should work fine in IE11 (and does, in my testing).

The only thing I can think of would be IE running in some sort of compatibility mode.

I didn't even know it wasn't a mistake, but thought it was the normal shortcomings of IE.
The display of the BB buttons does not work for me either.

@Chris D it's the compatibility mode. Works fine without on IE 11 under Win 8.1 & 10.

Don’t use Internet Explorer compatibility mode.

This problem is not related to xenForo software, I would like to report that it is related to web browser (IE)
