Interference

I was just designing my SLA/PLA server.
One mega-node for public-facing web (Apache)
One node for internal work (test-* and dev-*).
XF in question would be installed in internal node with no access from outside.
I wonder if XF installed internally would interfere (and if it would, than how) with XF installed on first node (public facing)?

Any thoughts?

There will be no interference. I have my dev site in a password protected directory where my live site is installed and there are no issues.
