XF 1.3 Integrate XenForo users with another forum

Hi,

We have a possible partner we'd like to cooperate with. We're thinking of the possibilty of integrating XenForo users and PHPBB users. So that the users on the PHPBB forum already have an account on our site, and doesn't need to register on our site.

OR

Maybe creating a form of seperate style, forum categories and language based on group membership on our main site? So that our partner have a form "community" of their own.


Is any of this possible?

There is a phpBB importer built in the software.
See the pre-sales FAQ in my signature for what is imported.

The problem would be when a new member registers on the phpBB forum after you have impored.

For that it would require custom development to automatically create an account in your XenForo forum when a new member registers in the phpBB forum.
