Install Xenforo locally?

Hi,

I have a domain which i cannot yet use, on which i will later on install XenForo.

However, i must prepare the XenForo forums locally BEFORE i can use the domain.

If i purchase XenForo and specify that domain name, will i be able to install it locally if i add the domain to the hostfile?

Yes, you can install it locally and transfer it later without issue.

That's exactly how I did it.
