XF 1.5 Inserting custom External Auth data (Steam Authentication)

My situation:
I'm coming from a MyBB installation with a large user base, using the built-in tool all data was migrated over and working fine.

For the MyBB installation we had a custom plugin that handled logins, I've ported over the data from the old plugin to the well-known Steam Authentication plugin for XenForo, I think I have everything in place but under "Edit User > Extra > External Accounts" it's showing N/A.

The data has been imported into xf_user_external_auth and in xf_user_profile under external_auth, is there anywhere else I need to place the data?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
