XF 1.5 Insert image into thread w/o uploading

Hello,

While viewing the forum via a mobile device, my members are asking for the ability to insert an image into a post without first uploading it to their gallery. Is this possible? If not, will it be a future-feature?

Unless the image is hosted somewhere and can be embedded, it would have to be uploaded.

They want the ability to do "what facebook does". I don't really use facebook, but I'm told that when you post a message, you can click an icon which will automatically bring up the photos on your phone. You choose the photo you want, and it then inserts it into the post. Currently, you have to upload the photo to your gallery, then apply it to your post. Is this possible?

I'm not sure what you're referring to by gallery but the upload a file button will allow them to upload images directly to posts.
