If a member of a specific usergroup posts in a thread, there should be some sort of indication of this in the forum view. Assuming the indicator was an icon, the icon could be clickable and provide a list of the posts in that thread from the members of the specific usergroup.
May also tie this in with post highlighting of users from said usergroup.
Note: shouldn't be limited to one usergroup. Rather, a set of usergroups can be defined for which this indicator would appear.
Example:/
On a gaming forum, this feature is enabled for Administrators and Game Developers. When a developer or administrator posts in a thread, an icon appears next to the thread.
Real world example: Blizzard forums
