How do I increase the default font size in the bbcode editor?

Search the control panel for "Message Text".

That led me to Style Properties: Message Elements, which would seem to control the font for the rich text editor, not the BB code editor.

Whatever you type in the BB Code Editor will be displayed in the default font size set in Message Elements when the message is saved.

Well, I fiddled with every font-related setting in that area, and no luck.
