Some URLs while they do not fail, don't provide any useful info in the rich snippet and end up being less intuitive as something to click than a plain link.
Prime example is autotrader:
Versus when it's on the same line and most users will read the URL, see it's pointing to a specific advert and click it: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202202122467958
The unfurled snippet looks like an embedded forum advert which people are way less likely to click even if the post text hints at that being the link.
Being able to control unfurling for a list of URLs would be fantastic.
