Not a bug Importing style: The provided file was not a valid XML file

Hi, I just exported my style from a live 1.1 installation and tried to import it into a local 1.1 test site but I get this error:

The provided file was not a valid XML file. Please provide a valid XML file.

I can't reproduce this. I couldn't import the file you provided, due to unescaped CDATA close elements (]]>). I fixed those, imported the style, and exported it. These are now exported as "]-]->" (and fixed on import) as this was reported as a problem in 1.0.

Are you sure the file was exported from 1.1?

Yes I exported the style from adminforums which is using the latest 1.1 downloaded in the customer area.

So I would need to find and replace all ]]> to ]-]-> in the .xml file? Or could you pm me the fixed version?

Well, I'd like to be able to reproduce this and fix it as best as I can. Would it be possible to get FTP and admin CP access?

This is caused by an add-on manipulating the output when it shouldn't be.

Any idea which addon so I can remove it?

No, I disabled all of the listeners via config.php and it didn't happen.

I meet solve same Mike! , When i install add one then i saw warning : The provided file was not a valid XML file. Please provide a valid XML file.
I can not install it, please help me . I have attach file xml bellow.
