Hello,

Xenforo comes with a build in rss importer so that you can show rss feeds in each forum you want. Is this good or bad for your google ranking. Because it are all little messages with the same title as the original posts. Is this good or bad for a forum?

But i mean, when you put someone others rss feed and put it on your site so that your forum keeps automatic updates. What will that do with your ranking because its duplicate content, no?

Okay, duplicate content is a grey line.

Google encourages you to put RSS feeds on top of what you are aggregating. To them, RSS feeds is like putting your sitemap on google.

This is what google says loosely: "If your site contains multiple pages with largely identical content." That means posting your content in two different places like for example:

www.sitename here.com
www.site namehere.com/keyword postensity
www.sitename here.com/keyword postensity 2

Delve deeper, and consider yourself banned from google. I have seen it several times and their rankings have dropped considerably.
