Importing from vBulletin is there a limit on how much can be saved?

I have been told there is a limit to how much data can be migrated from vBulletin to xenForo. Is this true as it would be painful to lose a good chunk of our board's history. ( We currently run 3.8.7 )

If there is a limit - Why?

@Fenway You should definitely run with the Big Board Importer.

My forum wasn't nearly the size yours is, but it cut dozens of hours out of my testing and migration. It was fast enough that I could do a bunch of test imports, and fix anything that was wrong in between. The web importer would have taken many hours to complete the same import, which would have significantly increased my testing time and my downtime during the actual switch.
