Importing Custom User Fields

Hey!
I'm importing custom user fields from vBulletin.
Do I have to import both "xf_user_field_value" and the cached field "xf_user_profile.custom_fields" or is it enough to import only "xf_user_field_value"?

That is because those values are cached in xf_user_profile.custom_fields. Editing and saving a user in the Admin CP prompts a rebuild of that cache.

The question is, if the customfields will work in front end without importing them twice and without editing and saving the user...
