Important migration question

For some strange reason, my VB 4.2.2 forum is down (went down after PHP update which initially showed VBSEO error) and is just showing blank page. After several hours of troubleshooting, it doesn’t seem like we will be able to revive it anytime soon. So I am thinking about switching to XenForo.



Does XenForo needs vBulletin forum to be functioning properly in order to run the import process or will it just copy directly copy attachments from file system and other data from database and be done with it?

To do an import XenForo needs access to the database and any server files (avatars, attachments).

The actual VB software does not need to be installed.

Awesome, and if I order now, how long will it take for my license to get activated?

As soon as we receive confirmation back from PayPal, which is typically instantly, the license would be available.
