XF 2.2 Important consultation on how to arrange my forum

I have a large forum, part of which deals with books.
For example, there is a section that deals with a certain book, another section that deals with another book, and so on.
I want there to be within each and every such section, a key to topics according to the chapters of the book. So that the topic opened in the "Political book" section can choose to which chapter in the book his topic belongs, and then anyone who enters this section will be able to see on the main page of the section a key that divides the chapters.
I thought about using tags, but I don't see that it is possible to divide the tags according to different sub-forums, or display them as a key within a sub-forum.
Do you have a solution or an idea?

too many subforums make the forum dispersive and chaotic.
Where you can, use tags.

Prefixes might be better since they are forum-specific. So you could create [chapter 1], [chapter 2], [chapter 3]... prefixes, and when clicked, you are in that chapter of that book. You would not have to create them for each forum, just assign them.
