XF 2.2 Import from MyBB 1.8.24

I've installed the latest version of Xenforo and its importer add-on. When trying to run it, however, between steps 3 and 4 it times out and the import cancels. This happens in both the web interface and cli. Any suggestions on how to complete the import? Is my server configured too low? (It's a single core 1GB VPS.)

UPDATE: I upgraded my VPS to the 2GB plan and it seems to be working now. Crossing my fingers...
