ImageProxy Host 0.3

No permission to download
Tried the update, exhibited the same issue but was finding the same image being displayed on all posts with proxied images.

Whaaaaaa

The update wont have changed anything as far your site is concerned - do you want to post the image source for the proxied image or pm me

What about security? Is this as safe as the normal proxy?
I'm just thinking about cookie stuffing, but there might be other things.

I dont see how cooking stuffing would be an issue - unless you are using a totally disreputable caching service. You and your caching service, remain in control of headers and cookies. A far bigger issue is that you are proxying images at all. And then their is copyright. But this add-on does not introduce any new dilemmas that I can think of.

Jim Boy updated ImageProxy Host with a new update entry:

Ignore SSL images

* Added an option to ignore images coming from secure source, based upon the images url starting with 'https'

Personally we only use proxy images so we can run our site via SSL. Then I thought why are we proxying images that are already delivered via SSL, so I've altered this addon to allow the proxy process to bypass images that are already secure.

Can be switched on in ACP->options->messages->Ignore https images

This will work regardless of whether you are running a proxy server host

Hi.

Will be using this. One thing I'm not sure about, so noob time now. If I have this options set to my cdn

upload_2016-2-7_9-4-56.webp

should I enable the proxy images here, both or none - thats the part not clear for me.

upload_2016-2-7_9-3-36.webp

Thanks in advance.

Just installed it, seems to work great. (y)
Good stuff! :D

edit : Or not

I have the same image (the one a viewed first) all over the forum.
Disabled it for now.

Edit : Fixed
The problem was "Ignore Query String" was enabled on my CDN (KeyCDN), I disabled it and now it works. (y)

What happens when the SSL cert. is invalid or self signed? (red lock) It doesn't serve the image then right if you have Ignore SSL images enabled?
The browser will chuck a complaint of some sort, which I've stated on the message options page. If you are the sort of site that will post a lot of content like that, then you probably dont want to enable that feature

I only have image proxy for avoid mixed content warming because my site run over https. My internal_data/image_cache folder have a size of 57gb. I can use your add-on to only proxify images with http origin but without a CDN ? I don't use a CDN in my site.

Edit my message, after reviewed the php code, i see that work for that i want, installed in my forum and working perfectly. Thanks for this amazing add-on
