XF 1.4 Image Proxy Problem

I have Image Proxy enabled but having a problem in this scenario.

Some members add pictures via attachments in a post and insert. This works fine. They then want to insert the same picture into another post. They then use the Insert Image button and copy the attachment link. However what shows up is X's.

Note that in edit mode, all images show up correctly.

Your images are actually across protocols (link is https, the images are at http) so that forces them through the proxy. Beyond that, the proxy is requesting the images as a guest. Since these are attachments, they're going to be dependent on guests being about to view them. When it doesn't go through the proxy, since you're logged in, you can see the image (though guests would still see a broken image).

Hmmm...how do I get my images to be on https? Is there a setting that is misconfigured?

The attachment URL is just going to be based on the URL you loaded it from. If you were on HTTP, it'd be an HTTP link.
