Add-on Image proxy only non-https images

The current image proxy results in a severe performance penalty for extremely image heavy pages (eg 25-35MB worth of images).

Most of my externally hosted images are already served from an https host (Flickr)

I am hoping someone will make an addon which limits the Xenforo image proxy to proxying non-https images only while leaving alone the https images
