iGoogle Closing...what now?

iGoogle is closing down at the end of the month and there seems to be no real alternative other than a 3rd party provider...of which I wouldn't use with such things as having my email block and other blocks that I would only trust to Google.

So, if you use iGoogle, what are you going to do now for a web home page that provides for blocks of quick info like your latest emails, horoscope, news rss feed from you local provider, current weather etc?

That was so slow that I stopped using it years ago.....

Google generally knows what they are doing, and would not be getting rid of it if it had any real value. I know my wife likes it....

I'm surprised it stayed around so long. I used it way back, and forgot it existed until now.

One of the sites mentioned on Tomsguide is http://www.startme.com which is what I've been using for a while now. It focuses on bookmark and RSS feeds though they say widgets are coming soon.
