If a quote is quoted, can I change the color of one of them?

It's very difficult to understand which is the quoted quote. For example:

If somebody writes a post, another user quotes it, and I quote both posts, the same background color is applied to both quotes and it's difficult to understand which is "the quoted quote"

I'd like to know if I can set a different background color for each quote

    Is it clear?

Not fully... by default, if you quote someone's post that has a quote in it, the original quote is stripped out if I'm not mistaken.

Are you referring to (on one page or by manually adding the quote BBcode) in the response box quoting multiple posts, kinda like

<this would be a quote from some user in a quote box>
I respond here and say yaddayaddayadda

<this would be a quote from another user in a quote box>
    I respond dabbadabbadabba
