XF 2.2 I know this isn't a xenforo problem

I am getting attacked by spam bots and I am catching them all with the built in tools but I am getting registrations coming from weird places including sub domains I don't even have here is an example below

https://waww.xxxxxxx.com/bb/register/

https://wdww.xxxxxxx.com/bb/register/

Can anyone tell me what is going on?

normal bot traffic... just ignore it. i get bots trying to log in to my word press wp-admin page --- which doesn't exist

Custom 404 addon by Siropu has been an eye-opener. I couldn't have imagined the amount of hits on speculative links. Hits to possible WordPress (and a bunch of other web software) was one. The scarier one is targeting of potential links to back up files on the domain.
