Read through the email guide, it usually solves most issues.

Go into your admin: Setup/Options/Email Options

Looks okay. Might want to contact your host if you're still having problems. Could be they don't allow an external smtp connection. I think Godaddy, for example, used to have this restriction, and still might.

@-coLd- your host is blocking outgoing SMTP email connections in their firewall. Contact them and tell them you need the firewall adjusted for your account.
