I accidentally modified my original domain.crt Now nginx doesn't start

Did you modify some rules in your csf for this to work?
I guess centmin mod default csf rules are strict.

Nope.
I guess my SSL cert is different from you as I have a Verified Organization cert.
 
OK, I tried startssl server class 1 and it works fine.
So the problem is Rapidssl.

2 years. You pay $59 more when you upgrade to Org verified. You don't need unless you are a registered company that does business with clients.
Depends on what you needs, wild card domains, etc.
 
Did you know how does startssl renewal works for Free plan?
