I have my xenforo installed on www.example.com (my root folder) and I wanna move it to a new subdirectory so it will be www.example.com/community then install my Xenpress in my root folder. @Brogan My question is- from where will I edit the .htaccess file? Is it somewhere on my XF ACP?
and where in the .htaccess file will I paste the code on number 5 in the FAQ?
@SyTry

Pls someone help a brother

Check your Board URL setting in the ACP and ensure it is correct.

You could try to clear your browser cache and cookies to see if that helps.

The board URL is correct. I cleared the cache and browsing data. The forum board loads fine but every other link brings 404 errors :(

@ozzy47 so everything is fine now. But I searched on google to see if the link in my indexed pages will work but it didn’t. I thought the changes in the .htaccess file is supposed to deal with that?
