XF 1.5 How to show content after first page EXCEPT when there is only one post

Can anyone provide the syntax to show content after the first page, except when there is only one post on a thread?

I currently have an ad after the first page and an ad above the reply box. When there is only one post it just shows two ads in a row, would like to remove one of them.
