How to set search to wildcard by default?

At the moment if I search for "extra" it won't find "extras" - how can I modify search so that it searches for partial matches by default?

    Cheers,

You'd have to modify the code directly - this is likely to be a bit of a performance killer too.

Okay, fair enough Mike - I can teach my members to use * at the end to wildcard words - but it is going to limit search results if XF only brings back absolute exact matches for words as the default behaviour!
