XF 1.5 How to remove the space above logo ?

Discussion in 'Styling and Customization Questions' started by Mikael Jaderberg, Oct 28, 2015.

  1. Hello,

    There is to much spcae between logo and top of the page.
    Can I adjust it somewhere ?

    I know I can disable the "Boxed Layout" but then there is a big empty space
    between logo and top of page anyway. How to remove ?

    Check here:
    Empty space

    Thanks

    Looks like its the size of your logo thats pushing the content down. Open up photoshop and edit you logo like this. on the Logo Layer, Ctrl, & Click the layer. It will select the entire logo only. Then you need to invert the selection and hit delete. This will remove any extra space from all sides of the logo. Then you save it as a transparent .png file and re upload the image to your web host. You can also look at tutorials on youtube.

  4. Hi,

    No I dont think so, I have already tried that and the weird thing is that when I made the rendering size smaller (66%) the logo get placed in the middle as it is now.
    I use Aurora 3D text and logo maker. I dont find that many Xenforo customization videos out there. Not about this anyway.

    It is the custom placement for the logo but I was hoping I could remove some space and move the logo down.
    So I am supposed to go to pixelexit forum instead I guess (where the theme is from).

    Thanks

    put this on your EXTRA.css:
    Code:
    #logo {
        line-height: 70px!important;
        height: 85px!important;
    }
