You can edit the forum_list template and remove or comment out the content.

    The gallery blocks can be disabled in the options.

    I removed the entire area below, refreshed cache, and the stats still show. Is there another section to address?
    Code:

{xen:phrase forum_statistics}

{xen:phrase discussions}:

{xen:number $boardTotals.discussions}

{xen:phrase messages}:

{xen:number $boardTotals.messages}

{xen:phrase members_count}:

{xen:number $boardTotals.users}

{xen:phrase latest_member}:

<xen:username user="$boardTotals.latestUser" />

    Are you using the widget framework add-on.

    If so, you may need to ask in the add-on thread as I don't use it.
