how to remove "default fields" in RM ?

I would like to use the "Resource Manager" for some sort of product-catalogue.

1)
I do not need the field named "version string".
How do I remove this field ?

2)
I do not need the 3 fields which are showing at "External purchase and download:"
How do I remove these 3 fields ?

3)
How to make the "Editor window" wider, so that it has the same width as at the Forum ?


4)
How to remove the "Most Downloaded" Tab ?

These would be split between custom template edits and things that require custom code edits because they're integrated/required.

if these "default fields" would be more flexible (ability to remove) and if there would be more flexible options for "custom fields", then the RM could be used for many different applications.
