I note that if you batch send a email to users and format as html (with html box ticked obviously) there is a note:
A text version of your email will be generated by removing all HTML tags.
Perhaps a daft question, but I presume this means if a recipient has an email client that receives plain text, then the html tags will be stripped automatically so for example instead of seeing a link https://xenforo.com/community/
They will see this
(I'm a bit confused because if I send a plain text email, then the links are actual links so they do seem to contain html
Also is there anyway I can test this, ie see exactly what they would see? (I'm using Mac mail and I don't think there is a way to just receive a plain text)
