XF 2.0 How to Merge Users

I'm sure this is basic, but how do I merge two users?

Select a user in the ACP, then click on the Actions tab on the right side and select Merge with user.

Ah. I figured something like that. Forum was imported from vB 3.8 to XF 2.0. I see the option when I chose a random user. It doesn't show on a user that was imported who was imported as a superAdmin.

Users set as admin or moderators are excluded from being merged.

Now I'm searching for how to remove the person from being an admin. Turns out not a superAdmin, though. The problem is somehow the company that did the import, admittedly a complex one, set XF 2.0 up with me as superAdmin and imported posts but also imported another user from a test forum they had set up in which I had been set up as a superAdmin. So, I have me - Marc, and another admin - Marc1. It may be that - Well, I'm lost as to how to merge them into the "Main" Marc account.

In the ACP open the side menu then open the "Groups and permissions" dropdown, then click on the "Administrator" link under the "Staff" heading.

Note, you only need to remove Marc1 from staff, then you can merge that account into the Marc account.

I got that far and removed the Marc1 from being an admin. Was afraid to do the Trashcan at first fearing I would remove the user entirely.
