XF 2.1 How to make social media profile entries clickable

The social media entries in the user profile are not clickable. Thought it was my own forum but the same happens on the XF demo:


Is it possible to change the text only entries to links/url's?

For each custom user field, you can do this, which then is clickable:

That doesn't work for me. Getting a weird url if I enable that. Can you show me the entries for the text fields? Default settings was:


But again, that doesn't work. Selecting "URL" does work (without the html you suggested) but that just shows the url the user entered in his/her profile.

It would be nice if a user can just fill in his/her profile name for their social media (FB/Insta/Twitter) and the user profile parses that to the correct direct url.
