XF 2.1 How to make independent pages

I can only find how to add URLs to the navigation - but nowhere on how to create independent pages with content?

If you mean a page node - that is done from the node list via the 'add node' button.

Ok, done. But the URL for a new page is not visible anywhere, how do I know what it is?

It's site.com/pages/<whatever you entered for the URLportion>/

I did just that but I get the oops page still

Ok, after a bunch of testing - it appears when you disable the node pages to show in list on the forum rundown the page can't be found. You have to have it visible among the forum nodes. I think this is a bug that needs to be fixed.

That's definitely not a bug, something else may be going on. I have plenty of pages not visible on the forum list but can see view them just fine.

No when creating them they are oops-pages unless you keepp them visible at first. Hiding them afterwords is fine and URL works.

Do you have friendly urls enabled by chance? I don't think that URL will work if not. It's something else.
