XF 2.2 How to do something when user logs in automatically?

Hello,

I need to set up some session variables when registered user visits the forum. I tried extending
"XF\Pub\Controller\Login" and it works, when user actually logs in via login form.

What should I do when user logs in automatically (from a saved cookie?).

Find the place where something is done/happen.
Extend the class doing your stuff.
